  • Holt Road Closure 1st – 3rd October 2019

    NORFOLK COUNTY COUNCIL has made a Temporary Traffic Order affecting the C311 Holt Road from a point 120 metres south of its junction with U11094 Springfield Close for a distance of 30 metres southwards in the PARISH OF WEYBOURNE because of works to facilitate water stop tap replacement.

    The road will be temporarily closed (except for access) from 1st October 2019 to 3rd October 2019 for the duration of the works, expected to be 3 days within the period.

  • Holt Road Emergency Closure 28th August – 3rd September 2019

    Owing to the replacement of a leaking stop tap the use by vehicles of the C311 Holt Road from a point 120 metres south of its junction with U11094 Springfield Close for a distance of 30 metres southwards in the PARISH OF WEYBOURNE will be temporarily prohibited from 28th August 2019 to 3rd September 2019 for the duration of the works, expected to be about 7 days within the period. If necessary the restriction could run for a maximum period of 21 days.

  • Q&A with the Police and Crime Commissioner

    Norfolk’s Police and Crime Commissioner (PCC) Lorne Green is hosting a special Q&A in Fakenham on Monday 22 July – where the people in charge of the county’s Fire and Rescue Service will join the PCC and Chief Constable in facing public questions.

    The event, which is thought to be the first of its kind in the country, will offer the Norfolk public the opportunity to ask questions related to both fire & rescue and policing.

    Joining PCC Lorne Green and Chief Constable Simon Bailey on the panel will be Cllr Margaret Dewsbury, Chair of the Fire Authority, and Chief Fire Officer Stuart Ruff.

    The joint police and fire Q&A will be held on Monday 22 July from 5.30pm at Fakenham Community Centre, Oak St, Fakenham NR21 9SR.
